Whether you're organizing the number of attendees for regular business meetings or coordinating a work event for your entire company, you can easily manage it online all in one place. Doodle has been helping people make polls and schedule meetings since 2007 and is proud to continue offering this service to its more than 30 million monthly users. It only takes just four quick steps to make a poll and easily manage events and details.

Create a Doodle poll

Below you'll find instructions on how to make your own poll on Doodle. It's free to create polls, but there are numerous advantages to creating an account as well as going for a Premium plan. How to make a poll online – in minutes!

Go to the homepage doodle.com to get started. You'll also see a large button on the top of the page that says "Create a Doodle". Click here to begin creating your poll (Yes, it really is that easy!). Gather opinions about anything or find the best time to meet in minutes.

Step 1 of 4

First, start your Doodle poll by choosing 'create a Doodle' at the top of the page. For this example, we'll use 'Revision meeting.' Of course, you can schedule any kind of meeting with Doodle! The location of the meeting is our office in Berlin.

Step 2 of 4

If you're scheduling an event or making a registration list, then click on the days that you are available to meet in the calendar (see the screenshot depiction below). For the meeting in February, we'll be sure to add several time options so that our participants can make sure they can find the best time. You have two options for choosing times for your meeting. You can choose times from the week view, where you can view the week alongside your connected calendar (another great feature of Doodle). Or you can choose the times from the month view if you'd like a wider perspective. If you'd rather not schedule an event on a specific date, but instead gather a list of suggestions, things to bring to an event, or other general categories, click on the "text" option.

Step 3 of 4

If you'd like to add some additional features to your poll, you can do so during step 3. Choose yes, no, if-need-be, limited options, or make the Doodle poll hidden for example. Here you can also see several Premium Doodle options such as poll deadlines and additional information requests.

Doodle Premium accounts are also totally ad-free for you and for your participants.

Step 4 of 4

All you need to do now is finalize the poll and send your invitations. You can send the link to your poll using your own email application, or you can have Doodle send out the invitations for you. If you've connected your address book you can add participants automatically, or you can simply type email addresses in the box. Your participants can then choose from the options you've added and in minutes you've found the best time to meet for your meeting! Or you've collected the most popular opinion on anything with just a few clicks.

It's never been easier and faster to make your own poll. Doodle also allows you to sync your calendar with a Doodle account so that you can keep all your appointments managed at a glance in an online planner. Doodle is so easy to use – and free! – that those wanting to make polls and surveys keep coming back.
